Malabar Gold & Diamonds has added three new showrooms in Dubai as it expands its UAE retail network. The outlets are located in Al Qusais, Discovery Gardens and Karama, with the Al Qusais branch formally opened by Indian actor Suriya. Company executives said the new stores are part of a broader effort to bring its jewellery collections closer to customers in one of its key international markets.
The inauguration at Al Qusais was attended by senior figures from Malabar Group and Malabar Gold & Diamonds, including Vice Chairman Abdul Salam K.P., MD – International Operations Shamlal Ahamed, Senior Director Mayankutty C, Director of Finance & Admin Ameer CMC, Head of Merchandising & SCM (Gold) Sakkeer P, and Regional Head – UAE Ranjith KV. Customers and other visitors were also present at the ceremony, which drew a strong turnout.
According to the company, the new showrooms have been designed as premium jewellery shopping spaces with spacious interiors, consultation areas and a wide display of gold, diamond, precious gemstone, platinum, bridal and contemporary pieces. The Al Qusais and Karama locations also include luxury lounges intended to provide a more private setting for customers. Malabar Gold & Diamonds said the expansion reflects its long-term commitment to the UAE market and its aim of improving convenience across key neighbourhoods.
M.P. Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Group, said the UAE has been central to the company’s growth and international operations. He linked the new openings to the brand’s confidence in the market and its plans for further global expansion, while emphasising ethics, transparency and customer satisfaction. Shamlal Ahamed also thanked Suriya for attending the event and said the new branches were designed to offer an elevated shopping experience. To mark the launch, the company announced introductory offers, including cash vouchers on diamond and precious gemstone purchases, discounts on selected categories and other festive benefits available until 8 November across its UAE showrooms.
